“Never never land” show
The Exposicionistas keep on organizing shows, this time the theme was “never never land” in other words an imaginary landscape. I decided to use india ink and gold leaf on paper. I imagine a landscape of Tecate with the Santa Ana winds, the rocks and the sun, and projected the feeling I get from those places, which is of tranquility and humor.
When I started I really did not like it that much, but at the end I was pretty happy with the piece.
The title of the piece is: Between characters and energies of Baja California (it's the first picture below). Format: 18” by 24”
Exposición “Paisaje de nunca jamas”
Los exposicionistas siguen organizando exposiciones, siempre me la paso bien con los proyectos y temas que proponen. Esta vez fue crear un “paisaje de nunca jamas”, osea un paisaje fantástico. Dedicí utilizar tinta china sobre papel y también “gold leaf”. Me imagine un paisaje de Tecate con los vientos de Santa Ana, sus piedras, el sol y trate de proyectar el sentimiento que me provocan, que es agradable...
Cuando empece no me estaba convenciendo, pero al final me gusto bastante.
El título de la obra es: Entre personajes y energías de Baja California (es la pieza de abajo). Formato: 18” x 24”.
